Field Kitchen 🛻
Illustrations developed for a contemporary Filipino restaurant in Makati City founded by JP Anglo, alongside its newer concept, Sarsa Field Kitchen, recognized with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand 2026.
For this set, I leaned fully into Sarsa’s existing visual language—particularly its outdoor, military-inspired direction, which has always felt integral to its identity. The system is built around utilitarian graphics, structured typography, and a restrained, neutral palette.
From there, I introduced an illustrative layer to soften and balance the rigidity of the direction. Cartoon-centric characters and hand-drawn lettering were used to bring a sense of movement and play into the system—allowing the visuals to feel more lived-in while still staying aligned with the brand’s overall framework.
